So, my parents are down this weekend and today we went to Earthfare for their Spring Fever festival. Our friend's the Kelly Family were there. They are selling great cloth diapers at great prices on www.loveablecloth.com. Check it out! We had a yummy organic lunch and spent time checking out all of the local goods and foods. More on our great (but rainy) weekend later:-).

Gymboree Classes

We signed up with The Picture People's Portrait Club not to long ago, and with it came a month's worth of free classes of Gymboree. I took Maddie yesterday and she had a blast! She loved rolling on the wedges and mats. She really loved the bubbles! She would try and grab them and she was so cute when they popped. She looked back at me like "Dad, where'd they go?" She even made some new friends too! I got a feeling the teens years are going to kill me, cause she was holding a little boy's hand for a good part of morning. He was playing with what little hair she has and they both got to laughing at each other. Regardless of the fact that our little girl is growing up way to fast, it was so cute to see her interacting with other babies. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up later today.

Meeting Mary Alice and first taste of ice cream!

Welcome to the world Mary Alice Graham! You are such a tiny, precious gift from God! Your parents are truly blessed. Ali you look great and Patrick you are doing a great job taking care of them both! Madeline was not sure what to make of her new friend but I am sure they will have lots of fun together in the future. After we went to the hospital we stopped at Chick-fil-a for an ice cream cone and Maddie had her first taste. She wasn't sure what to make of the coldness but she seemed to like it... one thing is for sure... she will know it as a "special treat". But it was so cute to see her reaction and smacking her lips. Again, congrats to the new mommy and daddy! Mary Alice is a beautiful little girl!

G Diapers Rock!

So, I decided to take a moment to rave about the type of diapers we chose to use. G Diapers are an eco-friendly hybrid diapering system that consist of an adorable cloth cover, snapping waterproof liner, and fully flushable liner. They have even come out with a cloth insert to make these diapers even more eco and cost effective. Madeline not only looks cute in her stylish covers (she has many colors) but the little "g" on the bum is so cute! Plus, she has never gotten true diaper rash which I atribute to the fact we never use chlorine, chemically created diapers on her precious skin. I just wanted all the future parents out there to know that there is a cost effective diaper that is kinder to the environment and your baby's skin. You can find them at gdiapers.com, diapers.com and babiesrus.com (and in some babies r us stores).

So, Maddie tried baby yogurt today and this was the first really funny face food. She was not sure what to make of it at all. But she did come around to like it. I think she will love it once we mix some fruit into it but we always make sure the "base" does not create an allergy before mixing it with things. Also, I just want to say that I have the best husband and daughter ever! I know that Adam is frustrated with the job situation right now but he always listens to me complain things and they both always put me in a happier mood when I get home each day. He takes wonderful care of Madeline while I am at work and also is the biggest help with house work. I can't wait until its his turn to experience the joy of coming home to the two things that make you the happiest (well 4, can't forget the boys:-)
